Guide for Authors

1. Introduction

Journal of Wuhan University (Natural Science Edition), found in 1930, is a comprehensive academic journal in the field of natural sciences, sponsored by Wuhan University and supervised by the Ministry of Education of China. It is currently a bimonthly journal with global distribution.

Journal of Wuhan University (Natural Science Edition) adheres to high academic standards. It is a core academic journal in natural sciences , and indexed by CSCD, Chinese core journal criterion of PKU, and various international and domestic databases such as WJCI, Mathematical Reviews (MR), Zentralblatt MATH (ZB1), and Referativnyi Zhurnal (РЖ).

 

2. The aim and scope of the journal

 

Journal of Wuhan University (Natural Science Edition) is committed to reporting the latest developments in various disciplines of natural sciences, especially in the innovative research results in information, materials, ecological and environmental safety and related fields.

 

3.  Submission and review process

 

Notice:

This publication adopts double anonymous review: both the reviewer and the author are anonymous.

The author needs to pay the Article-Processing Charges（APC), which will be determined based on the number of pages published officially.

The articles published in our journal are available to readers in our website and related database.

 

4. Copyright and license information for the article

 

1)      The author should ensure that the manuscript is original and has never been published in any other journal in any form. State secrets should not be involved; Academic misconducts like plagiarism, duplicate submission and forgery should be avoided; Laws, regulations and scientific ethics and academic morality should not be violated.

2)      Co-authors of the manuscript should guarantee that they own the full copyright of this manuscript and agree to submit and publish it in the Journal of Wuhan University (Natural Science Edition). Once the manuscript is published, all authors agree to transfer the copyright of the manuscript (including but not limited to the right of reproduction, distribution, broadcasting, information network dissemination, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, and other rights) free of charge to the editorial department of this journal. The transferred rights cannot be used by the authors themselves or licensed to others in any form, except for the following circumstances: (1) applying for a patent; (2) academic reports and lectures; (3) non-commercial academic exchanges; and (4) other activities allowed and authorized by the editorial department.
