Journal of Wuhan University (Natural Science Edition) (JWUNS) was founded in 1930 and is a comprehensive academic journal of natural sciences sponsored by Wuhan University and administrated by the Ministry of Education. It is currently a bimonthly issue, publicly distributed domestically and internationally, in A4 format, with 112 pages, and will be published on the 24th of the even month.        JWUNS has always adhered to high academic taste and high editorial quality. It is currently the key magazine of China technology, the Chinese Core Journals of Peking University, the CSCD(Chinese Science Citation Database) core journal, the WJCI Q2 district journal, and an authoritative academic journal of RCCSE (A+); it is abstracted/indexed in CA, INSPEC, INSPEC, JST, P ж (AJ) and other international important databases.

      JWUNS has been nominated for the National Journal Award twice in a row, awarded the title of "One Hundred Chinese Outstanding Academic Journals" four times, and has won honors such as the Top 100 Science and Technology Journals of Chinese Universities, China Excellent Science and Technology Journals, and Hubei Province Excellent Journal Award multiple times.
